Please be assured that this clinic is taking proactive measures to ensure our patient’s protection is always maintained during this pandemic.

We request that any person who is unwell, or who has been in contact with a person suspected of having COVID 19 does not come to the surgery.  Please phone Abbie if you are uncertain about whether this applies to you.

COVID 19 is the disease caused by a newly mutated virus called SARS Cov2.  It is a very infectious virus which is spread by droplets from an infected person.  Strict measures which ensure none of the virus’s come into contact with our mouth, nose, or eyes will prevent us from catching the virus. Because the virus is thought to be able to survive on surfaces for up to 4 days, it takes a great deal of care to avoid catching the virus.

This clinic is taking measures to ensure every precaution is taken to keep our patients safe.

During your visit to the clinic:

Please call Abbie to ensure I am running on time to minimise the amount of time you need to sit in the waiting room.

If you are happy to remain in your car in the car park, Abbie can take you straight into a consultation room when it becomes available. Please phone Abbie to let her know when you arrive in the car park.

You will be asked to put your belongings in a particular location in the consultation room. Please follow this request, as it ensures your safety.
All measures are being taken around the surgery to ensure optimum hygiene is maintained. Cleaning schedules have been increased in the common areas, and all instruments and consult rooms are being cleaned between patients to ensure maximum cleanliness.
I will be wearing a surgical mask when performing examinations near your face. He ensures the instrument used during the skin examination (dermatoscope and Maggy lamp) are thoroughly cleaned between patients.
If you have any questions or comments please feel free to phone or email us to discuss.
